Fuck DST! I was playing a game of LoL at 1:15 AM telling myself I'm gonna go get some Wendy's after.
Finished the game, and it was 3 AM. FML.

DST sucks. Sleeping schedule is all messed up for a week until adjusted.

That's when the clocks go back an hour, brah.
When the clocks go forward, if anything, you would get paid an extra hour that didn't exist.

Heard a co-worker say they are going to scrap DST in the future. Not sure if it affects us.

I personally think DST is a waste of time depending on how you look at it. For those who are working during when the clock springs forward/fall backward, it kinda sucks.

I have been wishing for the world to abandon DST for many a years.
This video from CGP Grey explains the issues:

If washington does abandon DST there would be significant pressure on BC to follow suit.

People make such a big deal out of this. Your sleep gets fixed in less than 7 days. It's only one hour
Personally like the fact that when I come out of work there's at least 2 or more (esp in summer) hours of sunlight and that means more activities and enjoying the day.

Actually seven days is a really high estimation on how long it takes someone to recover from a 1 hour shift.
Conservative estimates at the time loss, and economic impact look at only statistics and anomalies on the monday after the shift.
Which means that they proceed under the assumption that most people are only affected by the shift for 1 day. Even in this conservative assumption the productivity loss and $ impact is pretty significant, we're talking in the 8 figure range for the US alone.
