How is one supposed to differentiate a 'good' massage therapist from a list?

I think op is looking for some actual feedback.

Personally, I like going to the massage schools as it's 25$for like 75mins.yes they are students, but they're just as good as veteran rmts in my experience.

Finding one who is deep tissue may be a little harder to find though

The most recent one I went to was healing tree on broadway and Whit was my masseuse. It was relaxing as she had the perfect strength. I told her my spine area needed more work and she focus a lot on that right area.

She probably wonder why I didn't spoke much. A good massage are the ones that make you fall asleep.

with insurance, part of the charge is covered. the percentage that is covered is solely dependent on what your insurance policy is.

Kevin Tam at Metrotown Sports Physiotherapy (http://www.metrotownphysio.com/). I've seen him on and off since the mid 1990s for various rehab issues. Can park across the street at Metrotown, or the the bus/skytrain there.

oh, i think they all vary, but not by a whole lot. for reference, physio i used to go to charges 70 dollar per hour. i believe that was before insurance coverage.

Looking for a RMT in Richmond/Lougheed area. I'm looking in particular for someone who is good at get rid of knots as I have a lot in my back. I've tried several therapists who put a lot of pressure but I'm not sure if that's the best method.

If anyone is looking in Cloverdale/Langley area I highly recommend Nika at Clayton Gate. I went from not being able to stand for more then 5-10 minutes without excruciating pain due to sciatica to almost pain free (still working on it).
