| was invited to grand opening (former Starry Night Restaurant)
so I was invited to a grand opening here in Richmond called 1029 Cafe
which I thought was quite interesting, as this is solid proof that immigrants do invest in Canada. Thus good for our economy as a whole. What do you guys think of all this?

starry night was owned by taiwanese before being sold to these guys.
actually i was kind of disappointed when they shut down. there was nothing else like it in richmond.

also starry night was ultra shitty. tried it twice (to give it a second shot incase first time was an off night) ... nope. it was bad.
