I know, I know... :worthless:

But driving on Expo Blvd today, before Quebec St and there is this monument with cars stacked on top of each other. A white Pontiac Trans AM, then a E34 BMW, 4dr Black EG Civic, then a pink VW Cabriolet, then some red unit I couldn't identify.

Anybody living DT wanna grab some pics.

Is this new?

Looks like the red thing has the grille of a MK3 Golf, but the fenders look like something completely different. Obviously Merc hubcaps but I have no idea what the body is made up of.

Also those E38s are not small cars by any means, I had no idea a Firebird was really that big.

It's an e38 7 series.
Also it looks stupid.

inb4 Translink funded this for $150K...

this is on my commute to work.
I saw these guys working on it since the beginning of the week, but didn't realize what it was until a couple days later when all the cars were stacked up. they did the cars in one day I think.

snapped this on Wednesday

I'm thinkin the bottom car is supposed to be a Smart car (MB), but obviously they arent' cheap enough yet to use on an art piece. so they settled for some MB 190 hubcaps

info on the artist.
He's local and prof at Capilano University in North Van. I had a couple classes with him.
Can confirm he hates the car industry as he has said before. lol
