Last night, I hit a wall when I was backing up.
How much would it cost?
Recommend me some bodyshop too.
Also can I just buy some spray and fix it?
(FYI, I'm new to cars)

Write-off for sure.

Jokes aside, doesn't seem TOO bad. You can call ASC collision, they've done some decent work for me in the past unless others have different recommendations.

Spraying it yourself will probably end up looking very poor since its over a somewhat large surface area. You would need to prep it pretty well to keep paint from chipping down the road.

How much may it cost? Could you give me an idea?

Honestly, most of that might actually polish out, grab some Mothers fine cut cleaner from Canadian Tire and a couple good microfibers... apply elbow grease and a little polish (after cleaning the surface) and see how it goes. You might be surprised at the results...

Did the car scratch your back after?

^ +1

Try a nice hand polish, youtube the right technique and you should see a big improvement

Address/contact number of ASC collision? (In Richmond?)
How much may it cost? Could you give me an idea?

...the amount of people who can't google, find the address or phone within a second and call the number is too damn high

i think you could do it yourself. get some sand paper, buy a good polishing compound and rub really hard with microfiber.

also, one good way to "hide" the white scratch to blend in to the black colour is to use paint thinner. BUT ONLY if the rear bumper has not been repainted before. thats what i used when my friend bumped his x5 into a yellow post.

you a new driver?
id say leave it because youre probably gonna get more of these.
after a couple yrs then fix it all at once

won't even bother fixing. Is it just me or the quality of the paint looks terrible (orange peeling).

Some OEM paints look like that straight outta the factory :ohgodwhy: the BRZ they showcased at the auto show this year had crazy orange peel...and so does my car...I find that it's more prevalent in Japanese brands and low trim German models

You're a new driver, and not really into cars or anything, so I would just leave it be. It's just cosmetic

Not a kid but I'm new to Vancouver. Moved here recently and don't know places or people to get help. Thanks for your support!

Yup it'll cost ~350 for that. You can save some money if you want by removing/installing the bumper yourself.

Autobody damages are ridiculously expensive. It's just what it is.
I've learnt from the past that usually it's not even worth fixing if its just cosmetic damages, unless you have a really nice car or you're a huge enthusiast that washes and wax the car every weekend.

I have some scratches/deep gouges from a 50/50 accident (with a black car) across the side of my car. Over the years, it kind of buffed itself out. It helped that my car is silver though, and surprisingly, those black "paint trade" wore off.

I had a buddy that worked in the industry quote me for half my car's value. LOL. I was like :fuckthatshit: and just got some touch up paint and tried my best to at least paint the scratches away, even though the gouges are still there.

Cover it up with a rear bumper heat shield. Makes the car look fast :hotbaby:
