This car is just so surreal, found it was an interesting article though. Talk about a rare beast! And a beast in many ways...

This was one of those cars that was so unbelievable that I didn't think it actually existed. Helped by the fact that there were little to no Aston Martins in Vancouver back in the 80's, it was a European special that we would probably never see.
Then this happened. I have so much respect for the owner of the car. To find it, then import it, then to fix the issues with the British manufacturing is just amazing.
And Brendan McAleer sure has a way with words.

^ Agreed. I would love to see articles on the other cars in his collection, they sound awesome!
And I might have to check out the next British car meet to see the Lagonda in person. Such a cool story of a true enthusiast's passion: Time and effort put in to something really rare, to fulfill his own dream and to share it with others.
Sounds like the owner is decently well off; but I have far more respect for someone who puts their money into cool rare cars like his instead of buying a brand new Lambo for the price of several older, cooler cars.

Insane car, would love to see it in person
Lagonda reminds me of this article. Interesting read about Evil Knievel and his Chevy V8 swapped Lagonda with a coffin trailer.

Awesome article. The Lagonda certainly does have a quirky yet elegant charm of its own that nothing else like it ever had...
Such a shame the new Lagonda isn't being sold outside of Saudi Arabia, because it's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.

Props to the OP. Great post.
I'd never heard of this car until I read this thread. That's awesome.
