Anyone know of anyone who does a mobile tire service, it is just a straight changeover I am looking for.
Any recommendations? Would prefer to have the lugs properly hand tightened at the proper torque specs.
Thanks.

Do you want tires swapped over or do you have another set of wheels (with tires already mounted) put on?

Used Road Runners a few times for any at-home tire or wheel related service. No issues there. Road Runners Dial A Tire - The Lower Mainland's Only Mobile Tire Service and Sales (http://www.roadrunnersonline.ca)

Didn't know about such a service, what do they charge?

Starts at $80, I'd assume for a regular passenger car.

Ive used them three years in a row now. Very nice staff. Jack is the owner and is really cool to deal with.

Wait so they just come jack up your car and swap over new wheels and tires?
All you need is a jack, 2 jackstands, a breaker bar, and a torque wrench.
Hell you could even use the jack for your spare tire, and skip the jack stands (you could also skip the torque wrench and just crank on the breaker bar), then you only need like $50 worth of tools, and an hour of your time.

Yeah, it's really personal preference. I have a busy schedule and prefer to have stuff done by someone else. Even better if they can just do it at my house when I'm not there.
One time I got a flat tire. I left my car on the road, bused to work. Called them and told them where my car was. They went there and fixed it without me being there. Paid via credit card on the phone. Bused back to my car after work and I'm done. All without any time spent on my end.
Another time I wanted to swap my summer to winter (wheels only, not tires). Parked my car outside my house and bused to work. Again they did it all around my schedule.
Their prices are definitely high but it's the convenience that's worth it to me.

Time>money for some people. Especially if they lack the tools, space or experience.
