If you could own just one arcade cabinet

Saw this on another board and I thought it made for a cool thread.
For me it would be this 4 player Return of the Black Adder machine:

I spent many quarters and hours playing this. The levels were varied, and the art and sound were always cool.

My brother and I had a paper route, and we'd wake up extra early, at like 3am to go get the papers that were always delivered to the 7-11 close to our place, we'd go and play SF2 for a good hour everyday.
:nicethread:
are we talking about normal arcade cabinet? if so, SF2 and MvC1 are nice, but for me it would be this
http://www.dragonslairfans.com/gauntlet/gauntlet_onlocation_front.jpg
probably spent like $100 playing this and $20 finishing it in 1 shot in college. it's fun with multiplayer. i'd play with these D&D nerds i don't talk to but in game we play like a team :lol
if we're talking custom machines then it's 1 of these 2:
http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/timecrisispedia/images/f/fa/Time_Crisis_Arcade_Flyer_1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140201070712http://www.retronick.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/IMG_2656-e1363892231723.jpg
if there was one of those machines cheap i'd throw one in the garage but i think they cost an arm and a leg.

ninja turtles and simpons...way back to elementary school days :lol
was so proud finishing them with less than $2 each back then. final fight was another good one.
the audio of golden axe was pretty awesome back then. the evil laughs, the guys screaming "OH GOD!" when they died...
starting to feel like a nostalgic arcade game thread...good old days when it cost 25cents for a game and i can last 30-60min not a loonie or toonie for a few minutes :heckno:

awesome game. LoD were so OP. only way I could finish the game was basically throw people out of the ring and throw the metal steps on them until they're weak to get a ring out or easy pin :lol

I spent a lot of time on that game too! I ended up memorizing where every enemy came from. In the end, I could get to the final stage on 1 quarter, but it was so crazy I never mastered the final stage to finish it without spending $$$.
ya the end got pretty crazy and you pretty much need to have the right weapon for certain bosses (included last sequence) or else you'll just die horribly. if you're left with just the pee shooter you pretty much just wipe and start a new game.
i remembered a lot of sequences to where i fired a bullet and then a guy comes out and runs in to it :lol. first stage i'd try to go as far as i could with just using a knife
