I think this will be too hardcore for street use compared to the 3. But beautiful looking car.

The older 2000ish GTS is the best looking Viper.


Maybe it is just me, but the Viper looks like a total attention whore. I know it isn't supposed to be subtle, but it is too over-the-top.

Looks good, but it has lost its sense of touch. Past Vipers were true driver's cars that required you to actually drive the car with little to no electronic safety. If you pushed it to its limits, you had instant respect from the driving community because at any moment you could lock the tires or spinout.

Wont be a car for a lot of us. This car has a steep learning curve, and you would need some serious seat time to even scratch the surface of its potential. Assuming you don't die from trying.

I don't know about this one but last gen Viper ACR achieved 1.5g skidpad, which is surprisingly good for a street car.

Imo, this is a car you buy to tell people, "I like to drive and this is the craziest, fastest thing someone who likes to drive can buy"
Gtr and new gt3rs are for people who like to GO fast. I like to DRIVE fast.

If cop doesn't know the law, you might get VI for driving that car.

The Viper set all those records with 20TW tires. It doesn't fucking count when you're changing tires every other lap.

its actually 200 tread wear. many owners use them as street tires and do get quite a bit of life in them. I'm not going to deny it is a r compound tire but in my experience the compound is harder than say a hoosier r6/r7 40TW.

A true performance car. I've heard they have terrible quality control. I've read reviews that said they had bits falling off or the car failed entirely. Terrible for any new car. I'm not sure if the current gen is any better.

I recall a person killed them self in one on a empty highway in Vancouver when it flipped ,landed on its roof crushing the person inside... found him the next morning off an embankment..

i think that was on vancouver island.

like the other guy, traction is standard on all new vipers. had a few rides on the track and a test drive just before i put down a deposit. found it be lacking the rawness. it is much to civilized. i will be sticking with my gen 3 for now.
