Hi guys long time lurker here!

I was recent involved in accident in 2003 Nissan Maxima. The vehicle is my winter vehicle but it still have full comprehensive insurance.

During last week my vehicle was hit by another person on the front right corner. The other person claim full responsibility (thank you). My car is rebuilt, but the damage estimated small, under 1000 dollars. How does the process work with my car being rebuilt title vs car with clean title? My other vehicle (username) was involved in accident last year and i udnerstand how icbc works, but im curious as this car has rebuilt title

thank you! and sorry about bad english. fourth language for me!

They'll still treat it as a car with a clean title.

edit: For a fourth language, I'm impressed!

I don't think they do anything different from their usual process.

They determine the damage amount, then they determine if it's a write-off based on the value of the car (which would take into account being a rebuilt already).
If it's a write off, you get $, if not, they repair it.
