Unless the new Prius has a 3.5L V6 twin turbo engine producing 500 HP while doing 0 to 60 MPH in 3 seconds, the exterior is going to be ugly.

On a serious note though, the Prius is an economic entry hybrid car. It won't look good no matter what. It's either you love it or hate it.

I'm still rocking my 2005 Prius. It's been fun to drive (after upgrades), and has been rock-solid reliable. 270k, and only had to put in money for scheduled maintenance, tires, and had to replace the brakes once. I do agree that each generation the car just gets uglier. I was thinking of another Prius, but I can't stand their new looks.
