Looking for a sunday brunch place ...

either a brunch buffet that is reasonable [$25-$30]

or

a family style brunch [each can pay around $20 x 12ppl = $240]

suggestions?

Pantry Restaurant - Hotel Amenities | Holiday Inn North Vancouver (http://www.hinorthvancouver.com/hotel-amenities/pantry-restaurant/)

Never been, but have heard good things.

Pantry buffets I've been to have only been okay.

River Rock has gone down hill since they first opened, but is still decent and in your price range IIRC.

Market for brunch.

It is within your stated price range.

Their outdoor patio now has a live DJ.

It's also undercover and has those gas heaters.

The outdoor patio is almost always packed, so book early.

Union's menu is "Asian-fusion." Had one of their eggs benny, wasn't a fan and wouldn't go back.

Never been to Ebo for brunch but it looks really good. However, the price turns me off quite a bit. If it's anything like their dinners were I wouldn't be disappointed.

About a year ago I tried to book one of the long weekends. They said they sold out early in the week, so if you're looking at them I'd suggest calling them up early.

Went to the pantry a couple years ago, vowed to never go again.

food quality: 1/10
service: 5/10
value: 1/10

RR is 10000x better than the pantry, even if the quality has gone down from before.

Is Ebo a brunch buffet or a la carte?
