Noticed this in my front lawn. Anyone know what the cause may be? and solution to it?

link above tells you how to prevent them and i think the window passed for spraying nemotodes...

next year don't mow your lawn too short and don't rake it up to leave it as mulch so when the beetle flies over to drop it's eggs it'll be harder for them to get in to the ground...and you can spray next spring/early summer
