The new NSX was tested at the Nurburgring recently. What do you think of the exhaust sound?

According to Honda, the new NSX is supposedly much faster than the GT-R. The GT-R Nismo goes 7:08 so I'm curious to see NSX's lap time.

It's a hybrid.
Here's Honda's original NSX V10 VTEC sound. I guess they were gonna compete with LFA but decided not to.

I didn't expect it to sound this toned (watered) down...

I think a similar thing that happened with the GTR exhaust sound, is happening with the NSX sound. Stock the GTR exhaust sound is very neutered (read: vacuum cleaner), you really need to change the mid pipe amongst other parts to open it up. I'm guessing it's due to Japanese regulations or preference or what have you. So I wouldn't fret quite yet, it might sound not bad once the aftermarket has a chance. Then again, it's a V6 Turbo, so it probably won't be the last word in aural pleasure.

I was initially disappointed, but when you watch it more than once you realize the NSX is really damn fast, don't let it's exhaust fool you into thinking this is a slow car.
Remember this car follows the original NSX, it's not meant to be an attention getter, it's meant to produce fast last times with as little drama as possible.
The HSV is also my favourite Honda but why are we comparing a street car to a full blown race car with no exhaust restrictions?

^Genuinely curious, what stops you from keeping your pictures in one post?

Looks ok, but not a huge fan of the Acura grill. It does sort of look like an R8 from the front, and it's got Aston rear tail lights. R8 looks better imo.

I can see the old nsx in this one at some angle in the front.
Just wished there still was an option for a 6mt

the rear lines reminds me of a mclaren
given that the R8 is dubbed the modern NSX I'm okay with this new NSX looking like a R8...i don't expect Acura to come up with something as revolution as the cabin forward design from the Italians/Japanese in the 90s.

Can't wait for Liberty Walk to mod this NSX!
Here are some Aventador, Murcielago & GT-R :)

Acura really needs to get rid of those god awful LED headlamps and go for a much cleaner LED headlamp design. Overall though I do like the design and I think it looks much nicer than the GTR.
