Hey all, posting on behalf of a friend.

2000 Audi S4 in Nogaro blue was stolen from his driveway on Heritage Mountain in Port Moody. The car has been posted on craigslist as a part-out but we have been unsuccessful in contacting thus far.

PLEASE keep an eye out for this car or if you see any ads posted parting the car out it is STOLEN and the police are actively trying to recover the car. Posting this in hopes that someone will come across the parting out ad on craigslist, dubberz, or here and hopefully get ahold of whoever is behind this, or in hopes that the car will be spotted somewhere. Anyone actively looking for S4 parts beware of purchasing stolen goods that may be available!

How stupid can someone be to post a parting out ad on a car that's hot... on top of that a nogaro blue s4... blows my mind how dumb people can be

I just looked at the part out post, that picture looks like a picture of a printed photograph? Makes me think it might just be coincidence.

I dunno man... I hate to say it, but something fishy going on here IMO. This seems like some ill-conceived insurance scam to me.. "We'll put a part out ad on CL, it's fool proof!"

So lemme get this straight, the thief took a pic, printed said pic, then took a pic of that pic to post on CL? Even typing "A4 S4 B5" in the ad.. I don't think your average meth-head car thief is going to type that and anyone with a clue wouldn't put that stolen car on CL.

No offense to OP, things just aren't adding up to me. If this is legit, you'll catch the bastard because he's obviously one stupid ass human being and I apologize in advance because no one deserves having their car stolen.
