Playing as Hanzo you gotta be like FPS Doug. Only it's harder because your arrows have real drop time and its almost 2 seconds between full power shots. But once you get a feel for the arrows and the play style its hard to put down.

I would say Hanzo is one of those characters that your either going to love or hate.

I get why they call them heroes and not classes. Because everyone has a unique play style and job. It's easy to steam roll teams who don't build their team with at least one tank and dedicated healer.

Genji requires precision. Close quarter combat, you should always right click instead of left click if your hit accuracy is garbage.

In general, I like to play Genji like a ninja (duh), and try to go behind the enemy team.

Shift is your friend to almost every situation. It's your engage, escape, and execution. (Wow, 3 e's!)

Try to get your team to run 2 heals. It seems to be the best (Mercy and Lucio )...a dead dps is zero dps.

Hardest part is really getting your team to work together and picking the right heroes.

Try playing her like a flanker, she can take a lot of damage, but she's not a true tank like Reinhardt. It's a similar play style to tracer where you disrupt them from the back end because your jets allow you to get to places they don't expect. And when out of mech, stay long range because her pistol has no dropoff damage; it's also surprisingly powerful. I just recently picked up D.VA too and she's becoming one of my mains, her ulti is a game changer

I meant competitive mode. I rarely touch quick play these days. I made the wise choice of solo queuing all 10 of my placement matches and went 2/8 lol; this gave me a rank of 36 and now I'm stuck in an endless loop of leavers and baddies. I'm certainly not the best player (on psn), but I would give myself a rating of 45-50 (check my stats below, D.VA is currently ranked 14 in the world in K/D ratio). I know it's a team game, but personal score needs to be factored in more to avoid situations like this.

Blizzard teased a new Overwatch hero recently with a blueprint of a healing sniper rifle, and now the developer has revealed the new character. Ana is a Support character who uses her rifle and other abilities to simultaneously heal her teammates and hurt her foes--and she just so happens to be Pharah's mother, too. You can try her out for yourself through the Public Test Realm right now.

The weapon you'll use most as Ana is her Biotic Rifle. It fires long-range darts that restore your allies' health or deal ongoing damage if you shoot an enemy with one. In addition to the rifle, Ana has a Sleep Dart, which knocks enemies unconscious.

For close-quarters combat, Ana can utilize her Biotic Grenade, which heals teammates and damages opponents standing within its small area of effect. An added bonus to the grenade is a temporary increase to all healing your allies receive. Additionally, any enemies caught in its area of effect will not be able to receive healing for a period of time.

Lastly, Ana's Ultimate ability, Nano Boost, turns a teammate into a superpowered soldier. It gives them increased damage, faster movement, and a higher resistance to damage while active.

To try Ana out for yourself right now, you'll need to have Overwatch on PC. Open the Battle.net client, go to where you select your region/account (right above the Play button), and choose "PTR: Overwatch." The PTR will need to install, but once it has, you'll be able to play as Ana as much as you like.

Many players believed the Support sniper was named Sombra, as the name can be seen in several locations on the Dorado map. Reaper can also be heard saying, "Where is Sombra when you need her?" Although the Support sniper character turned out to be Ana, it's still possible that Sombra could be an entirely separate character.

Ana is introduced alongside a patch that makes several balance changes to multiple heroes. Some of the changes affect Zenyatta's vulnerability and D.Va's Defense Field. We'll keep you updated as the patch notes are released.

We got the opportunity to speak to Blizzard's principal designer, Scott Mercer, and he told us that players can expect some changes to Competitive Play in the near future. There will soon be a one-hero limit, which will prevent teams from having multiple players using the same hero. And when Season 2 commences, Sudden Death will be removed in favor of ending a game in a tie.

In other Overwatch news, the first-person shooter stayed near the top of the PS4's top-selling digital games for another month. The only game to beat it was Battlefield 4, which was discounted heavily during June.

Each game of Lúcioball lasts four minutes, and the team that scores the most goals in that time...wins!

Speaking of abilities…understanding how Lúcio interacts with the ball is the key to mastering Lúcioball. For this brawl, his primary fire has been replaced with a melee attack, allowing Lúcio to punch the ball—perfect for dribbling, passing, and shooting from short range. When you need to launch the ball across the map, Lúcio’s alternate fire emits a blast of sound that gets the job done nicely.

Unlike other game modes, the speed boost from Lúcio’s Crossfade only affects himself in Lúcioball (Amp It Up will still increase that boost, as normal), and his ultimate ability, Sound Barrier, now pulls the ball toward him from anywhere on the field.

you should be able to buy older boxes as you can select which boxes to open (if you still had old ones to) from the loot box page.

* Rank System Changed to 1-5000, Split up between Bronze-Silver-Gold and upwards, sort of like Starcraft.

* Full list of Rank categories as stated by many in this thread: Bronze<Silver<Gold<Platinum<Diamond<Master<Grand Master

* Sudden Death gone, Time bank added to Hybrid and Payload maps.

* Time bank slightly changed to make for more chances of a comeback/fair for a team that is winning hard.

* Tightening Group Average Levels to 500 (out of 5000) in Competetive PTR

* After Diamond and up, you will lose 50 Ranks per day if you havent played for an entire week. This effect stops when you reach the bottom of Diamond however.

* Competetive Points multiplied by 10, You will be rewarded 5 Points for a tie. (Golden gun costs upped by the same amount.)

* More strict rules for Top 500.

Overwatch Tips.

Do not join a competitive game as a 5 or 6 stack unless you regularly play together as a group. Because you will automatically get paired with full 6 stacks that do and you'll get wrecked.

smaller stacks of 3 or less might do much better? Havent tried.

Try to master at least 2 heroes of each type for situational hero switching and to fill in groups when you solo queue because sometimes you have to carry the team in certain situations because of stubborn players that refuse to switch or don't know how to switch to counter the other teams lineup.

Try mercy it was fun to heal ppl. But I think I should stay back instead of rushing with the team. Too use to WoW healing change now (you actually have to attach to mobs as well as healing and since I heal on a pally I have to be in melee range).

Might try other class tonight. Need to read up more on what each class/character does.

For the free weekend I mostly played as D.va and the engineer dwarf dude. D.va was OK for t hose big nukes, also most of the tank characters seem to have really weak annoying guns that aren't fun to use.

The turret play was much more fun, going around giving armor, finding the best spots for turrets and keeping them up. Got a lot of 10+ kill streaks with him.

Overall though, I think one weekend is all I need from the game. It is fun but I'm just not into the repetitive play of online multiplayer shooters any more. Considering I have been playing them starting with Quake 1 and its mods like team fortress, through Q2, Tribes, CS, etc.. I'm done, Gus LUL

Is more fun than WoW for me! WoW is just getting too stupid with all the changes they are making (And more stupid changes up in PTR that pretty much ruin the whole hunter class, Ench shammy and Warlocks).

Ever since the devs from the orginal WoW team were transfer Overwatch, overwatch now seems really fun. More smooth gameplay. While WoW devs team is the one that on Diablo 3 and we all know how Diablo 3 end up......

i tried playing quick play with my GF and quickplay was 1000x worst because of free play... everyone just newbing it out and trying to move around in spawn lol

- two ultimate ability - Teleport and a Shield Generator (build object give shield to nearby teammate)
- ultimate structure will have more hp and shield so it can regenerate
- new shield ability
- have 6/6 turrent instead of 3/6

Got the last copy of PS4 Overwatch for $40 at Surrey Best Buy for Boxing Day. Needed something as a changeup from Destiny as The Division is a ghost town and COD hasn't been good since Modern Warfare.
