Just curious, do ALL cameras capture left turns or it depends on their position

I turned left after the yellow arrow disappeared

There was no camera to catch my front plate or back plate but there was a side camera

I know that area very well bc I live there

I went back to see, and the camera was fixed, to me looking like it only captures cars going straight, NOT cars turning

Could this be possible

Were you past the line when you were turning left? IIRC, as long as you're past the solid white line when turning left, you can even turn on the red as you must yield to cars in the intersection. I wouldn't worry too much if you were past the line.

Those cameras capture the entire intersection, but they only activate when the light is red. If you just had an advance (flashing) green, it shouldn't have caught you. If you were already in the intersection before the light changed, you should be fine.

No ur wrong , that camera only captures cars going east and west not cars turning from northbound , I got it confirmed just recently.

So for all those out there, not ALL cameras capture all directions

Turning left or right while at an intersection with a red light camera should be fine. I've had flashes go off while turning left and at a different time, turning right. No ticket yet. So I'm guessing you're OK.
