My leather seat is starting to show minor wear so I was looking into leather restoration companies and came across "NewCreations". They provide a mobile service and the price they quoted was good but wondering if anyone has had experience with this company?

Would recommend for any interior restorations. Work at an auto glass shop and they come all the time to repair damaged door panels from break ins and scratches on leather. Always quality work and craftsmanship. Also Larry is a great guy for bringing cookies every time he comes in

I've dealt with Morgan from New Creations when I worked at a car dealership, he does his work in Surrey/Langley area. They will just dye the panel that is fading and it will wear away again with daily use. I recommend going to an auto upholstery shop and have them sew in a new panel on your seat cover.

Their office is just down the street from me in PoCo.

I used them to refurbish some cracked leather in a Lexus Lx470

I explained before the job was done that I was looking for a permanent fix.

I had no intention on selling the truck. They said "no problem"

The truck was back to its pitted steering wheel and cracked leather seats in about 7 months and it was a weekend only driver.

As mentioned previously if you want something permanent have the panel replaced.

If you want something that looks good for a month or 2 (perfect for a quick sale) go with them.

So had my seat repaired today by Robbie, he came by and told me to go inside and he would call me when he was done. Very friendly guy and honestly I was skeptic at first but I'm pretty amazed with the repair and how close the colour matches.

Here's what I got fixed, keep in my car has around 18,500km's so not sure how the seat got so bad.

Hey that looks great!!! I didn't know you can repair leather like that! That's one of the eye sores of luxury used cars, after a few years, everything looks great but the driver side leather seats take a beating, especially for heavier people who sort of fallout of their car and tend to wear out the sides more. To this day I never knew there was a way to fix/repair that! How much did something like this cost? You can PM if me too.

Sounds like a wicked deal, I have almost the exact same damage on my m3 seats...maybe our previous owners were on the larger side.

I wasn't happy about the seat wearing so quickly but glad it was repaired enough so I don't have to see what was a eye sore. What's even shocking to me is the SA at the dealer told me he's seen R8 seats worn down on cars which are a few months old.

He reckons it's because the car is low and because you have to push yourself out of the seat to get out and rub against the bolster and rub against the bolster when you get in the car it causes extra wear. I guess that could be true especially if you have a larger frame.
