Looking for a place that will fix my PS3 Slim (not Super Slim), for hopefully a low cost.
Basically, what's wrong with it is that it won't read discs, I'll put in any disc, the drive will spin up a couple of times, then make a weird mechanical clicking sound and then eject the disc without me pressing the eject button. Tried power cycling it, resetting all the settings, different discs, cleaning the discs, to no avail.
I assume there's something wrong with either the laser or the disc drive itself. I'm not very skilled at taking these things apart, plus I don't really want to buy a PS4 as I am a very occasional gamer and can't justify the cost. If anyone knows of any places please let me know, that'd be great!
