: Anybody can recommend a good bodyshop that also does frame repair?

Just as the tittle suggests, I'm looking for a good bodyshop that is somewhat cheap but does good work and that includes frame checking and repairing. This is not for an insurance claim. Paying for this privately so I can't stress enough "cheap" but "great work" or should I say... Reasonable price for the work to be perfect.

Anyways, any suggestions would be great and I can pay cash if that helps. Thanks!

I'm partial to Bavara Auto Haus. They've fixed a couple of my cars now and always did an awesome job. That said, they're out in Aldergrove/Abbotsford, so it may be too far from where you are.

Doesn't exist.

FWIW I had frame and body work done at Mountain Highway Collision in the past. They do top notch work.

Bavara shut doors all of a sudden about a year ago

Had flat deck trucks come in and tow cars out night before and doors were locked the next day

Do your own diligence, if you had posted 1-2 months ago, you would have heard a lot of good review from ppl telling you to go to vip. And then u would have been in the same place as meme and cman. I have learnt that you can ask for recommendations but do your own research also. Good luck.

Back when I made the auto body thread along with vip, ak was also recommended and that who I used. Ak auto body, they fixed my door due to break in, job was good no complain or any difficulties. FYI. Good luck

The only way to get cheap and good is by "buddy" connections.
Otherwise you really get what you pay for.

As what other's have been saying, getting body with framework done is not cheap. Let alone JUST frame isn't cheap.

If you are wanting the cheap route, don't complain down the road when possibly whatever framework has been done breaks or cracks due to weather/ vibrations etc. Pretty much "You get what you pay for" kinda thing.

If it was just cosmetic, I can understand people going cheap, but frame repair? HELLLL no...

Bavara auto haus seemed good but seem to overcharge for ICBC work and never got my paint job correct. Had to go back a few times. Still messed up with fisheyes and bumps in the paint. Guess I dealt with them when they were in trouble and stopped caring about doing a good job.

Anyone know if I can get it fixed elsewhere now? ICBC work has lifetime warranty correct?

I've been going to Richcity collision now and they are great.

If you had ICBC work that was done by a shop that is now out of business, it is still covered. You need to contact ICBC, and they can guide you through the process.

Proline in north vancouver. Best paint match I've ever seen. They fixed up my old miata with a twisted framejob from a UPS truck, all straight. Also fixed up my 350z when I messed up the side. Perfect there as well.

They had ghetto courtesy cars but dont let that sway you, I'd go there for any of my future jobs.
