When i lift the ring and shift to reverse, the ring will get stuck and stay up. Doesnt happen everytime but more often than not. Im still able to shift properly and it doesnt seem to cause any aerious trouble. Just gets annoying and a bit sketchy of the possibility of going from 5th into reverse.... Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on what could be making this happen? Much appreciated.

there is a pin that holds the ring to a spring loaded cable, check to see if that pin is not moved out of place. also check underneath the car. if u have someone pull on the ring while ur under the car u can see an actuator move, make sure theres nth stuck in that area causing the cable not to spring back.
