Some members on there have found pictures of stolen cars and even a very recent theft that was recently recovered.

This has been going on in my FB for the last week.

From what I have seen the two individuals who had their cars stolen from this goof, did their very best to try and get the police involved. I am unsure of the circumstances as to why the police won't do something, or maybe its just cause they can't find the clown.

Nobody else seems to be able to track him down neither.

Either way the kids appears to have stolen like 3+ cars in the last week and drives them around and posts them on his FB before moving to the next one. I am fairly certain that by next week we will be hearing about either a police arrest related to this, or possibly just that he had his head bashed in and left in a ditch.

I'm guessing it has something to do with needing actual evidence to be able to arrest him, there's nothing illegal about posting pictures of a car on Facebook. Doing that takes time, but of course everyone expects the police to act instantly (even though they rarely can) which results in people claiming they're doing nothing.

Guy stole my GF's EG from the back of our appt building. We lived on the 9th floor. I heard it start up so I grabbed my keys and ran down 9 flights of stairs and hopped in my car. This took less than 30 seconds. Hopped in my EK and followed the guy he was barely a block away. I was on the phone with the police at this time telling them where we were driving to. Turned left onto Nanaimo from Broadway and there is a center meridian there. So I pulled in front of him and then hammered the brakes. He rear ended me and stalled the car. I jumped out wearing only boxers and he started panicking. The door was locked so I punched out the window and wrapped the seatbelt around his neck. Put my foot on the door and started pulling telling him the only way out is to open the door. So he opened the door. I dragged him out and held him until the cops got there a few minutes later.
He tried telling the cops I assaulted him and the cops response was "Did you see that guy? You're lucky he didn't kill you" Cops gave me a handshake and a job well done. ICBC covered the damaged rear bumper on my EK and the damage on the EG.

Probably saved ICBC money on a write off payout for the EG. Only damage was the window and steering column on the EG and my rear bumper cover was cracked because it was Fiberglass. Plus because they caught the guy they can make him pay for it with restitution. He didn't know I was following him I kept a couple cars between us until we turned left at which point I was right behind him. Dispatcher told me not to do anything and just follow but..... Fuck that. I wanted my pound of flesh.

3 years ago I posted my old beat up Cavalier on craigslist for 500$. Zedd shows up to look at it, we go for a ride, he bangs the gears hard but he has cash in hand, so i'm like whatever. He tells me he recently got out of jail for grand theft auto, but he has a drivers license and cash so whatever. He likes the car and wants to buy it, so I take him down to the autoplan broker to do the transfer. The broker tells Zedd he has to pay 2000$ to ICBC in fines before he can do anything. Zedd acts surprised and tells me his Mom will pay it tomorrow, but he needs the car to get home tonight, so I'm like whatever, its getting late, and he seems like a good kid. I take the cash and give him the transfer form filled out so he can do it tomorrow.

Next day Im at work and get a call from the Surrey RCMP, asking me what my affiliation with Zedd Zimmerman is... i explain what happened the night before. The officer tells me that my car's ownership was never transferred, it is still in my name and that Zedd was in a police chase and the car was totaled... Thankfully Zedd told the police that I had sold him the car but he didnt transfer it over, so our stories matched up and the officer told me not to worry about it. Funnily enough Zedd was upset that he had tried to do things "the right way" by actually buying a car (even though he had no ownership and had put stolen plates on it). Got a police file number to clear my name with ICBC. I soon forget about the whole thing.

So tonight I get pulled over by a few NWPD cars and they surround my car and ask "Zedd!?" I guess my name is still associated with his somehow, the police officer wouldn't give me any details. I explain who I am and how I have literally nothing to do with that kid and they let me go. But apparently he is out on the loose again, stealing cars and evading police, and they are trying to find him.
