It's a MLM (pyramid) based bullshit product. The people who sell these things are just obsessed with money and the lifestyle of the MLM world rather than the product itself which is an overpriced appliance. You can buy a nice fridge for $5000. These MLM types are just stupid people who prey on stupider people for financial gain while supplying pseudo-science to validate their claims.
I have people in this circle and they all want to 'meet up with me for coffee'. Pfft, I wonder why? I guess meeting up with me for water would sound pretty ghetto.

Lol your parents are getting raped for the $100 charcoal filter they have to buy off them too. I tested the ph and it actually does change though. I cut a filter in half to see if it was anything special, nope it's just charcoal in there. My buddies parents thought since it was so baller, let's just run hot ass tap water through it for some tea or whatever, nope it just killed the machine lol.

The young and ambitious taking advantage of people wanting to live longer, hence the seniors. Do you want to live longer, don't worry kangen water 9.5 is here to help. Lol. Then again people are buying bottled water at 1.30+ a bottle, so they use that an example of how much money you'd save in the long run, but don't tell you about the filter you have to buy off them forever to run the machine. I'm sure that ph your adding to the water isn't free either.

Milk is alkaline because of the calcium. Hence when you eat tums it neutralizes the acid in stomach when you have heart burn.

Bet ya MLA's are gonna get compensated for buying bottled water @ 5 bucks a bottle as part of their expenses/compensation. Maybe put some Kangen shit in the building........ someone will make lots of money.

Waste of money.
Tap water is perfectly fine. Lots of effort goes into making sure it stays that way (you're welcome). Even though we've still watermains here and there that were installed in the 30s, all is good.
I've filled my water bottle up countless times at fire hydrants on lines that are 60+ years old. Tastes great. As MG1 said, it's older buildings/houses and houses in cul de sacs that complain about shitty water. We can fix the taste when it comes to the cul de sac, but the older homes/buildings, that's a different story.

BC tap water is the best imo. I'm hanging out in LA and the water here is ... gross. LOL I mean it's fine but definitely not BC quality. Enjoy that water man ... not everybody is as lucky to have such a clean resource on demand.
Whenever I went out to Toronto (Richmond Hill) for work, I'd always get bottled water. The tap water was nasty.
Here, I just use tap water in my water cooler and clean it once a year.

I was at a health show last year and the cheapest model is about $2k if I recall correctly.
It was a very nice family that was showing me the ins and outs, and they truly believed in it. They had many case studies. No actual studies though.
That being said, I like how most here thinks this is a scam and how this product doesn't work. I have no idea if this actually does anything. The demonstrations were very cool, it was like being at science world when they do experiments.
I don't think anyone here is qualified to have any objective opinion on this type of water. Yes, Vancouver water is amazing, but that has nothing to do with this Kangen water.
I would really love to try this out on a long term basis, but I wasn't about to drop $2k on a water system. If I could afford it, I would have done it because the conviction the family had was real. They weren't pushy and I didn't feel like I was being upsold or scammed.

These machines feed of the people who worry to much and think this will make them healthy once again. It's no better than the guy on Dragons Den who claimed his precious metal water could cure any disease and ailment. They kicked him off the show...

Maybe we aren't, but the FDA sure is: http://www.fda.gov.ph/advisories/food/135927-fda-advisory-no-2014-010
For the lazy:
therapeutic claims made on drinking water as a ploy to promote and market water must be substantiated through valid clinical trials. It is a violation of RA 9711, otherwise known as the FDA Act of 2009, to sell or offer for sale or use purification devices that allegedly produce water known as "alkaline water" or "oxygenated water" and make therapeutic claims without a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR)
Drinking alkaline, oxygenated or ionized water does not change the blood pH level.

Like I've said in another post, if you want to remove "toxic" chemicals in your water, most portable and built-in replaceable water filters will do. Depending on the make/and model, it cost $3-$50 per replacement.
Want to increase the pH of your water? Add LEMON to your glass of water. It's the most alkaline fruit on this planet. Many studies has shown that drinking lemon water is very beneficial to your health.
I don't see why you need to shell out $5000.00 on a machine where its performance and effectiveness are questionable, at best.

Seriously, it's a marketing ploy. It targets those who are obsessed with having that perfect diet lifestyle. The reality is, there is no perfect diet but who cares? Which leads to my second point.
People just don't give their own bodies enough credit for dealing with bacteria, virus etc. When you actually spend the time reading up on our biology, you can learn just why we are at the top of the food chain. As long as you get regular checkups, you can live a long life and that includes checkups for preventative diseases. It's really no different than taking care of your car to make it last.
But then again, we live in a world that is slowly being convinced that Gluten is simply bad for the body, full stop. People have been shaped to believe that Gluten (unless you're a Celiac) is GUARANTEED to make you sick and erode your life away.

Let it be known that these osmosis filter systems could actually be bad for you since the water that enters your body is filtered of mineral and because of osmosis, the very pure water could drain your bodies minerals when you urinate the excess water.

You realize that osmosis is the movement of water from areas of high concentration to low concentration, right?
What you're describing is diffusion. Regardless, we have these fun things called organs (namely the intestines and two nifty things called kidneys) that help us reabsorb and filter everything before we pee it out.
Which brings me back to that fun energy consuming thing our body does incessantly - homeostasis.

Well if you eat meats, breads and milks all day your body gets very acidic... so your body leaches calcium off your bones to homogenize the body.... but that doesnt mean a person who eats acidic food will have the same PH as someone who regularly eats fruits.
Highly nutritious and delicious fruit are now only reserved for the rich and wealthy. I dont know how much of an impact this water system does... if it takes out minerals or not... but in terms of PH its better then nothing I suppose.

You realize that milk is huge source of calcium, right? So much so that if you even drink 1 cup (236mL) of it a day, you would have satisfied 30%+ of your recommended daily intake.
This doesn't include everything else you eat in a regular day that also fulfills calcium needs. There would be absolutely no reason why your body would need to use your bone's calcium to fulfill it's needs when you're supplying ample amounts in your regular diet.
Can you tell me why someone's body would get more acidic if they ate "meats, bread, and milk" but not fruits like oranges, lemon, etc...?
Also, what do you mean by "body gets acidic"? Like does my body suddenly get a pH of less than 5 or even 4?

Milk has a pH of about 6.7 (water has a pH of 7), it is pretty darn close to neutral. I would hardly consider it very acidic - though if you said it was acidic, you would be technically right.
Show me a scientific article/journal that says you lose more calcium from drinking milk than it provides.

Cancers could be attributed to acidic bodies.
When a baby poopoo's in its shorts, that very acidic environment starts irritating the bum skin and turns it red.
Same with the body, when you have an acidic body, your lymphatic system slows to a crawl and it doesnt clean out your cells "shit"\waste. This in turn causes cancer\tumor then your typically ZioAmerican puppet medical system comes along and treats all cancers with Chemo which eventually kills you in 5-7 years.
Basically you dont want an acidic body at any PH.
Our food pyramid is flawed, breads and milk among other things are unnecessarily proportioned in it. Is it prop up the dairy or grain industry you'd might ask? Or how about the cancer industry is more like it.
So to even find the truth about milks negative calcium results, which is contrary to ZioAmerican propaganda, you would have to do a bit of research in none mainstream science sites to see for yourself.

Really, so how do the cells in the brain depose of waste?
And I already answered your question, go search it yourself.
Cells in the brain depose of waste the same way the rest of the body via diffusion and osmosis. If the cell cannot do this effectively, it will undergo apoptosis. The waste product the cells produce go into the hepatic portal where it gets filtered/recycled/transformed further before being excreted by your body.
If someone else said what I bolded in your reply, you'd start calling them names and say how uneducated they are. Why can't you just answer the question directly?
The sheer hypocrisy your presenting is baffling.
I'll say it one more time, I'll even number it for you the questions I want answered from you:
1. Show me an article that says "One may lose more calcium consuming milk then the milk restoring the calcium".
2. Tell me how pH in your body or blood changes again with an article or source.

CiC isn't worth anyone's time convincing him from his "ideas". He can extrapolate the craziest bullshit from any post. When someone can find something insidious about a Star Wars comic (http://www.revscene.net/forums/633139-funny-stuff-what-makes-you-laugh-sfw-11.html#post8691787), then you know that someone's got a skull that rattles like a can of spray paint. You can safely ignore anything that comes from him.

How does waste magically go into the hepatic portal... do they hitch a ride on some kind of bio school bus and get dropped off at the last stop?
I know what you sheeple are like... I dont want to spend time researching something when at the end you'll say "oh its on Youtube", "hes a quack doctor" or that "he doesnt have mainstream qualification"... thus point is invalid.
Lets see you do some of the leg work and find me an article that says milk provides the body with more calcium then it consumes to balance the bodies ph.
Lastly you want me to tell how the body changes ph levels? Ask Presto, he seems like a mr.knowitall.

With your logic, why don't you "do some of the leg work and find me an article that says" waste will go into the hepatic portal. But I won't be so mean so here's a hint, it has to do with blood.
Calling me sheeple. Well done. Calling someone names is the very definition of losing an argument. Then deferring to Presto? Again, another sign of losing an argument.
