A lot of the M cars were locked on the previous years as well. Iirc pretty much most of the BMWs and Audi's that costed over 60k were locked. I remember trying to get into a 6 series and it was locked :okay: but I'm sure if you seem like a nice enough guy they could unlock it for you as the reps there have the keys

^^ i watched a steady stream of people yank on the M2 door handle. They should have marked it locked. Pretty dumb to have it sitting beside half a dozen other unlocked M cars - all worth more money and leave this locked.

Decent show this year - pretty cool to see the 4 "super" Ferrari's lined up together. NSX is dope AF too. Focus RS "prototype" is there. Locked too, but at least you can get close to it.. Always too many pushy people though - and you've got to love the guys that think they can take a better picture with their iphone than they can find all over the internet.

I go every year because it's tradition, but if you're going to see supercars, just hit the Porsche langley and Weissach C&C's. Way more to see, and even better - hear.

Went with a friend this morning, used the discount code given a few days ago and skipped the line. Got to see the Laferrari, F40, Enzo (a lot bigger than I expected) and the rat rods. Pretty good show despite not a lot of free stuff like last year (maybe because it is the second day of the show). The BMW i8 is pretty difficult to get in and out of.

Went to the show last night, loved it.

Side note about the show, I was shocked at the lack of interest in the new R8. The Audi area was crowded but all the people were gathered around the new A4 and the Q3 (which was actually pretty nice), I only saw a couple people actual go by the R8 and look it and this was the R8 V10 plus model on display.

I personally think Audi dropped the ball with the new R8, it looks very bland in person and I still prefer gen 1.

Also there was big crowds around Lambo, Porsche which was right across and has the 918 and GT3RS on display basically had a few people gathered around. Interesting to see what kind of cars people who are not car enthusiast levitate towards.

its different. wednesday there were exotics out front. f12, aventador sv, huracan, 570s etc. thursday there were offroad vehicles, lifted jeeps and couple pickups. today theres a spotlight on modified japanese cars.

I had industry tickets for Wednesday and went that night, managed to sneak in a few shitty pictures on my phone. I bet the lines for the driving simulators at Lexus and Ford will be insane this weekend. Then again, I was only mostly interested in the Cayman GT4, and how surprisingly roomy the Mini Clubman was.

Lol even with the sea of exotics. The new Honda civic blew me away the most when I sat inside (the top of the line turbo model with the led headlights). They've put some serious quality effort into interior fit and finish.. almost thought I was sitting in an Acura!

Definitely agree with jpark's assessment of the new civic. The purple colour was pretty nice too. My main nitpick of the car is how cheap the steering wheel controls felt.

My friend was also in awe of the tri-mode power step from the GMC Sierra. The fully loaded one was really nice!

This show was the perfect example of why older cars are climbing in price so much. Fuck, there are so few new cars that are sub 100k that are truly exciting.
The line up of the super ferraris were the highlight for me, along with turbo mayonnaise 930 and the gt4/3. M2 really didn't have the presence in person I was hoping for, but I think my expectations may have been unrealistic. The RWB, kchans lotus and project 240s car were my favourite outside.
