thinking of picking up a macbook pro in Apple store.

Does anyone if they stock 1TB SSD models (15" with graphics card) in store? or must it be custom ordered all the time?

Didnt want to order online as I like to check the item physically and ask them to transfer my content over to the new machine while in store,

Thanks

Why don't you just call the store??

you can order it online and choose to pick it up in store, and open it up n shit there.

you're gonna have to book an appointment for the genius bar as the same time you pick it up if you want to be guaranteed that they help you do the transfer.

I dont know the specific specs, but typically if its a CTO order, then they would have to order it in. Only exceptions are if they have cancelled ordered stock or its a super popular model to have in stock. Online or in store, the wait time will be the same if it has to be built to order.

You should call and ask - when I got the maxed out Macbook Air, I called ahead to see if they had it in store and they said they do carry the maxed out models for some of the notebooks.
