Happy April Fools Day! Post any pranks that you did on your friends, family, or co workers or any pranks in which you were the victim.

I'll start off.

It was a busy day in the computer lab at a bank's operations department back in my days as a bank employee.

My co workers saw me in the middle of a big project that involved testing banking account opening systems. I was taking phone calls non stop to speak with various managers and I.T. staff.

One co-worker decides to be play an April Fools prank on me with the help of my manager. Manager calls me late in the afternoon about a system breaking down. He's yelling on the phone with panic in his voice. "The system is fucked!" :suspicious:

My manager says "We need an emergency meeting now to talk about contingency plans. Before we meet, I want you go to your desk upstairs to pick up some documents that I left on your desk".

I run upstairs to my desk. Then my co-worker calls my desk phone. Once I pick up the phone, my right ear is covered in shaving cream as that co-worker put that stuff on the phone receiver. My co-worker screams "April Fools!" on the phone.

I laughed so hard that all of the staff in my area stand up. :lawl:

someone in my building was 30 minutes late to work, CEO came and took his stuff and left it in a box on his desk. Guy comes in to work and CEO tells him to take the box and bring it in the boardroom for a 1 on 1 meeting. Guy was stunned and the CEO just laughed his ass off once he entered.

MAJOR NEWS ABOUT 4/20! This is very exciting...!
Mayor Robertson confirms City Hall will fly cannabis-leaf flag on 4/20.
Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson announced today that the cannabis-leaf flag will fly over city hall on April 20, to coincide with the popular 4/20 celebration at Sunset Beach.
In his speech, Mayor Robertson provided context for the flag-raising, and explained how local actions can have a powerful global influence.
"The leadership and activism shown by Vancouver's cannabis community really advances our city, and keeps us on the leading edge," he told the assembled audience. "When I'm in cities like Barcelona or Amsterdam, I hear from mayors who appreciate the leadership on marijuana that we're able to demonstrate in Vancouver, because of the courage that's here."
Robertson also talked about a motion to support cannabis equality that was passed last week.
The motion states that council will work on making all civic facilities and programs safe and inclusive for cannabis users. This will include signage, human resources, staff policies, programming, and public and community partnerships.
"I'm very proud to say that council unanimously supported my motion last week on cannabis rights, and that motion will help Vancouver to be more inclusive of our cannabis-using residents. This really expresses Vancouver's full support for equal protections for all people." Robertson said.
On April 20, Robertson will be leading the traditional joint handout at 4:20pm. That evening, he will be performing an hour-long set at the Cannabis Culture lounge, under his stage name of "DJ Greenest."
