Asia where?

Myanmar is asia, so is HK.. yet the banking systems are different.

Bitcoin is probably the easiest.. hence that's why all the ransomware use it

the Prince of Nigeria is a guru when it comes to sending money across borders.

Go to a bank and do a wire transfer.

If it's a single large transfer, wire is your best bet. It should be around $40 to have it done and arrives very quickly assuming both the sending and receiving bank are large enough.

If you have many small transfers and looking to minimize cost, call around... many of the exchange houses should be able to accommodate that at a rate cheaper than wiring several times.

If it is from Hongkong and assuming you're not trying to launder money, then why not just wire it from your HK account to your bank account here. Your bank should be able to provide you with all the information needed: Bank name, institution number, swiftcode etc...

If it's something you prefer not to be "seen" then yea Western Union or even those money exchange places can probably organize something for you, for a fee of course

that range is peanuts for banks. so just go there, and they usually change a fee for their service. quick, easy and safe.

hmm seems like you don't have to worry about the $10K report thing if they receive the money from a bank. so do that, if you tried to deposit it from a wire transfer like western union or in cash, the bank has to report it to the government, and they will have some question about the origins.

$10k reporting is usually with cash. As long as there is a paper tractable paper trail, you can transfer as much as you want.

Just like everything at the airport, it is all security kabuki. Even cash limit is mostly for deterrence or to get the minnows who don't know what they are doing..
