Another season is almost upon us.
Please let this be about the Lions and the other CFL teams. Do not bring the NFL vs CFL crap in here. All it will prove is that you are an ignorant dipshit.

Training camp was in Kamloops again this year. It was great when they had it in Abbotsford a few years back.

They did well against the Stamps in the preseason. All I know is that I'm looking forward to seeing them play in our company seats. Row 14 on the 48 yard line makes for great sight lines.
They're so close that Bighill can hear me when I tell him to run faster.

The Lions looked pretty good in the two preseason games, but that usually means they'll suck when it comes to the regular season, lol.
It'd be good to see some sort of cup come our way........... the Canucks, nuff said.

So sick of Durant, the guy is made of glass I can't believe they kept him as there starter this year. He was a good QB in the past but the last 3 years he can't stay healthy.
Bwahahahaha........... thank you BC Lions. After first half, when Lions were behind and it looked like the makings of another loss, I decided to go to Grand Villa Casino to buy a lottery ticket. As soon as I walk in, every screen in the place has got the Lions game on. Damn it. I decided to go upstairs, where there are no screens, to play Wicked Winnings IV, LOL. 60 cent bets, 'cause I'm too cheap to play anything big. I was down like twenty five bucks. Looked like I was a bigger loser than the Lions. Then, before I knew it, bam! $360.00 win!
I immediately cashed out and went down to to the first floor to find out the Lions had tied the game. WTH? Now that I'm home and watching the game, they're probably going to loose, LOL.
Also, wth? Lots of eye candy at Mosaic. I thought we cornered the market on hotties.
BC Lions ahead 8-0. Chris Rainey 90+ yard return. Woohoo!

How can the Lions lose this game??? Coach Buono's challenge on the Calgary player for illegal contact cost the team a huge time out.
Jennings made a bad throw for that interception to lead to a TD. Nevertheless, the Lions should still have won the game. :heckno:
The Lions were their own worst enemy and coach needs to brighten up a bit. Last game he got a penalty and this game, made some pretty bad decisions. With all the experience he has, he should know better. Dave Dickenson, on the other hand, did a great job with his team.
In any case, probably one of the best games this season.

Jordan would have rode the bench in BC, he was never the starter. He's a Rodgers but Aaron he's not.
4 minutes to go, but it looks like the Lions will win tonight's game vs the Canucks of the CFL.....Mount Royal Alouettes.
It'll push BC into First Place in the West.

Absolutely baffling how they let them come back, up by that many and just folded on defence. Embarrassing, made even worse by the fact that I work with a bunch of edmontonians
Now I know why teams are going for two point conversions more often, lol. A single point conversion is no longer a guarantee.
Ritchie Leone is awesome at kick offs, but his accuracy on field goals and conversions, not so much.
Moving the lines back has had a fairly significant effect. Anyway, close game tonight. 1 point difference with under three minutes to go.
A bit of a slugfest with over 1000 yards of offence.
Felt bad for Harris. Did he get hit as he threw that interception?
Another close game so far, but what a comeback by the lions.

Finally watched a game, and man it did not disappoint. poor call at the end. in my eyes that ball was clearly loose.
fantastic entertainment though.
Most of the games have been pretty exciting this year. We have people on RS who would shit all over the CFL when given the chance, but I enjoy the league and its rules. New rules have improved the flow of the game a bit.
Yeah, that was a loose ball. Replys show that, but control centre botched that one.

gotta make the Bluebombers pay. And, hopefully the calls go our way. The Lions were ripped off last week. Never mind a close game, just annihilate them.

The Lions lost the game on poor decisions. The calls went their way, too, for the most part.

62 yarder at the end would have been classic. Jennings was like WTF, coach? Hail Mary is totally possible with the type of receivers the Lions have. Wally probably wanted to say, "WTF? I'll tell you WTF............. wtf were your thinking throwing that interception that cost us the game!?!"

Lions are gonna be in a tough situation in this afternoon's game. Last game ever at Taylor Field. So sad, but it's like the day the Lions stopped playing at Empire Stadium. Anyway, the Riders are gonna come out all fired up. I'm hoping the Riders win, even though I'm a life long Lions fan. What history the stadium has. Known as the BC Lions graveyard, lol.

Taking my kid to the game tonight, another brutal season for the Riders. At least my NFL team is doing well and better then that my sons team is undefeated and starts playoff tomorrow. :)

He came by my sons practice a couple weeks ago, he's like oh I'm just here to hang out. So he's watching for like a minute then dude with a camera shows up, he moves in close to the kids for some pictures like hey look at me I'm out in the community, snaps the photos then he leaves a minute later.
I laughed out loud, it was so dumb.
Here it is, they didn't do anything with the kids except get video footage and photos of them looking like they were helping them in someway haha. To be fair there are some Lions coaches and players that do work with the teams and kids there but it's not these guys.

No, season is officially over at least for the CFL.
His team is really good this year for PeeWee, they have a good shot at going to and winning Provincials this year so that's his focus.
Yup, that's how it is for me. If Lions are out, I'm out. Hopefully, the Lions go all the way this year.

Provincials is as far as they go at this age, it's his first opportunity to go even that far though. To possibly have a chance to play against the best teams in the Province and potentially beat them all is exciting. They still have a lot of work to do and there are games to be played but they have a really good shot.
W-T-F????????? 2nd and 10 for Winnipeg and ball was dropped by the receiver. BC should have been receiving a kick, but NOooooooooo, Purifoy gets a taunting penalty. Winnipeg gets an automatic first down. Almost leads to major, but get a field goal, thankfully.
Jennings throws an interception that leads to a Winnipeg major. Then he fumbles the ball. Now Lions are down 0-11............ god damn it. Costly penalties and carelessness.
The worst play of the game so far is the taunting penalty. Just STFU, man. No need to give the opposing team a chance. You play hard all season and have a goal in mind and you flap your yapper to potentially lose everything you fought for.

Wow, didn't watch the game, but the Ottawa Redblacks just defeated the Calgary Stampeders in overtime. Ottawa had a 20 point lead at one point, but Calgary came back in the last few minutes to tie it.
I'll have to watch the replays.
Calgary was supposed to win by double digits. Biggest upset in history, so they say.
