Here are some things I think of when I see bike ads like that.

Its 7 years old with 2500 ODO. Hardly used.

Has the guy changed the oil every year? Or is it sitting with 4 year old oil. To me someone who doesn't ride the bike probably doesn't really care for it and left it sitting in their garage. Doesn't warrant an almost new pricing imo.

Thanks for the input.

I thought the 07/08's were the best ones?

I was going to offer $6000 and pay $6500 tops for it. Seems like a great deal for such low mileage if everything checks out.

I also went to check out the new 600cc's today. R6 anni was most beautiful but worst on my back. Hondas were most comfortable but worst colour scheme.

@elo: once you go black, you don't go back

Although '06 doesn't have the electronic steering damper 07/08 has, I believe it does have a slipper clutch though.
I'm Bidding my time until I find a decent 13'+ 636/ZX-6R,

I think it's pretty good especially if you get it in the 6s. Quick tune up and you are ready to go. New bike tax hurts

Kr4l - I would also factor in a new set of tires. Those things are probably hard as rocks now so factor that into your offer. Otherwise looks like a nice bike.

Low mileage for the age. Get a PPI done on the bike. I have seen countless bikes with super low miles on them with loads of issues due to lack of maintaining them based on there age.

Buddy Guy didn't message me back when I asked about maintenance so I'm guessing it's a no go

If you can get an 2009 CBR600RR in the low-6s that's a good deal.

Comfortable and reliable. $7500 is too much (especially when you add tax to that total).
