: Road Trip? A pub in the middle of BC w/ 200+ Single Malts

Just saw this BC?s Best Single Malt Scotch Bar Is Where? (http://luxurybc.ca/food/bcs-best-single-malt-scotch-bar/) and never even heard of Wells BC before. Looks like a great road trip destination!

owner of Fets is a good guy too, sat down with us one night for over an hour going through scotches and making a few recommendations

$450 later, maybe wasnt such a good guy? lol :drunk:

If any of you ever find yourself in Portland, I highly recommend paying a visit to the Multnomah Whiskey Library. They have approximately 2000 different whiskeys and the bar itself has a great atmosphere and setting. If you order a cocktail, they come to your table with their cocktail trolley and mix your drink table side.

I've been to that bar/hotel in Wells. We had just finished doing the Bowron lakes loop in a bunch of kayaks. Last day on the water was a miserable stormy day and we couldn't wait to have some cold beers and real food (8 days of dehydrated food and boiled water). Didn't notice all the selection, was to busy raiding that fridge dry.
