Fishing the Craigslist & Autotrader classifieds for a new car and have one in mind. Need the nitpickers and detectives to help me with history with said car. Nobody wants to buy a lemon myself included so if you have any information on the car I'm pursuing then by all means, shoot. It's a 2003 Evo 8 with a bunch of mods some which I'll keep and depending on my preference whereas others I'll replace with new parts.

Guy wants $30,000 G's which I think I can get him down to around $20,000-$22,000 as there's a bunch of negotiating tactics I've got up my sleeve. The major one being it's a USDM so that's a good start to get that asking price down pronto!

This being Revscene maybe you know the owner of the car and give some insight on it. My daily is a TLX, but it's so boring ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz..... almost puts me to sleep. Need a stick back in my life to bring back some excitement to driving. I like the Evo 8 and the MKIV's but cannot find any decent MKIVs :sadface:

If anyone has any other interesting leads to other Evo 8's or MKIVs and if I purchase the car with your help I will treat you to bubble tea or dinner as reward.

Shoulda bought my Evo IX for $24,000 when I had it for sale. A very good buy for the guy that bought it from me IMO. I posted here for a few months. Anthony's Evo 8 is an amazing build and worth at least $28,000 if you wanted a fully modded Evo 8/9 but for some it may be too aggressive and people generally do not like buying a heavily modded vehicle. Most likely why he's having a hard time selling. Well that, and the fact there are douches like you low-balling the fuck out of sellers with "tactics".
