Labour Day Weekend photowalk

Planning the next photowalk for labour day weekend. Lets get a discussion going. What/where do you guys want to shoot? Rcubed and I will be shooting film again.

Landscapes. Nice ones, maybe Whitecliff Park at sunset. Let's get everyone to learn to compose, and exposure for quality landscape photo's.

Arghh... heading back to Asia on Sep 2nd. Any chance to do this the weekend before?

I find you need a long lens to enjoy walking around this. 300mm+

Not necessarily. I've shot some interesting photos with wide angles, 50 & 85mm. Just try to be creative. A good portion of the wildlife there is very tame and human friendly.
If you want strictly mega awesome birds of prey photos though, 200 minimum but 300 would be good enough, 4-600 is best. I used to use my old 70-300 with patience and I would come home with some decent images.
Get Jason to go with you guys, maybe he'll bring some super teles from his work place for everyone to try out.
However, the best time to go to Reifel would be late fall to winter. That's just my opinion though.

cancelled, Rcubed and I are still going to photowalk labour day weekend regardless. Everyone is welcome to join us if they're interested
