Tying into the Engagement Ring Buying Advice thread (http://www.revscene.net/forums/698729-engagement-ring-buying-advice-8.html), I'm looking for ideas for gifts for the groomsmen that won't break the bank. I know the usual ideas like flasks, cufflinks, utility knives, cigars, etc but I'm open to other ideas. My favourites so far are engraved utility knives or tie clips, but I don't know what to look for in good ones.

how many groomsmen?

I had three and i gave em a small bottle of whisky (200ml or 330ml) and a flask. I think altogether it was just a little over $100.

If you're ever in the US, there are also decent humidor and cigar kits at good prices.

I thought about tie clips as well but i couldn't find anything good at my budget.


One thing i thought about doing was making my own home brew and custom designing a growler with the groomsmen faces and the wedding date but I just never got around to it.

Best groomsmen gift I've received was an engraved pocket knife. Small, crazy sharp and super handy to keep in the car. Was also cool that all the guys used them often on our annual camping trip.

Then mine got stolen out of my car a month or so ago.. fuckin thieves. :2finger:

Best man + three groomsmen. It's tricky cause things can add up fast when you multiple by four.

Didn't have groomsmen at my wedding, but I gave watches to bestman and everyone who stuck by me all the time.
