Holy Shit, Sidney Crosby!! Tim Horton's Upper Deck Hockey Cards

Each morning before I begin my shift at work I stop at Timmy Ho's for a coffee and doughnut. They've been offering this Upper Deck hockey card promo and I've been suckered into buying a couple packs each time. Hard to resist since I'm huge hockey nut like most Canadians.
So you only get 3 cards per pack which is obviously a skimp job by UD. I think its 2 commons and 1 rare per pack. I've been getting a ton of doubles and mediocre rares. Today I opened my pack and I found a Sydney Crosby NHL Game Jersey. Supposedly super rare. I've been buying these cards in hopes to get Connor McDavid Redemption Card but this score (no pun intended) is sick.
I have a few questions:
1. What do you think I can sell this card for at local cards & collectibles store in the GVA?
2. Is it worth buying a hard case and keeping it as an investment and selling later down the road when Crosby retires?
3. Should I sell it online through e-bay?

I find it ironic how you claim to be a huge hockey nut and the first thing that crosses your mind is how much you can flip for it?

I would keep it as an investment. If its worth $8 now, it could go up to over $12 in 5-10 years.

I think from the commercial there are only 87 of the signed crosbys, do u have one of the signed ones or just a regular one
I want the Sidney Crosby autographed hockey stamp, goddamnit........

I've got the Bobby Orr signed stamp, along with Johnny Bower, Tony Esposito, and Jaques Plante. Paid an arm and a leg for them off eBay. I don't care about the other players, especially that asswipe Messier, but I do want the signed Sidney Crosby. I'll pay 100+ bucks for it.

I'll trade you a complete set of Upper Deck from 1992-93.
I think I had about $250 "invested" in that set back in the day. Current book value: $50usd. Currect eBay value: $18usd.
plastic hard case = same value.

92-95 are about the most common sets available, i have 2 copies of the 94 set i think.
Those are the years when everyone was collecting, also some of the best looking cards imo as well

lol anything from 93-94 is so over saturated. I was lucky and sold my Premier cards when they were hot. Made a lot of money off some of the rookies. I have 4 sets of Score with the Lindros rookie cards. Worthless now :( haha
Berz out.

The rarest card is a Base set Machamp that isn't "First Edition"

Yup, the only thing more worthless then the hockey cards from that era are the football cards, I got lots of those. The only cards I have worth anything are the 1937 o-pee-chee baseball cards my dad found in a book in his deceased uncles house and gave to me. Those cards are probably almost as old as MG1. :)
