I know people on this forum swear by Craigslist to find deals on used imports, but I'm telling you Kijiji sometimes offer some goldmines. I hate the Kijiji layout and their user interface is crummy but I find a lot more value finds.

I was so close to buying a flawless 5-sp 2001 Prelude SE with less than 50km. Full authentic Mugen bodykit including rare exhaust. Advan Kreuzer V's (Could sell these alone for the price he wanted for car) Could tell from the pictures the owner babied the car, the leather seats looked new. Phoned the owner and said a guy put down deposit to buy it. I don't know how long the ad was up but it wasn't more than 1hr. Tried to offer him a bit more to see if he would sell to me instead, no go :(

Guess some people still rely on principles and not swayed by more money. I've used this tactic before buying used items on classifieds ads and it works 90% of the time.

The price $3500
dammit, would have made a perfect cheap beater for the winter. Not going to lie kinda salty right now...

Funny enough I actually found my car on autotrader (NOT a dealer for once) since the owner didn't want to get spammed by all the tire kickers on craigslist. If you're serious, look everywhere.

Christ, this is like joe_45 equivalent in the relationship forum.

do I have to dig up the ITR/STI threads?

how did that $10K-off asking offer go on that $30K Evo?

A new thread, two paragraphs, lots of writing and a spoiler alert on a car you didn't even test drive.

Awesome..

Yes, it is good to see that some people abide by strong principles.
Others don't.

The Kijiji interface is a lot better than the Craigslist one. With Kijiji I can search province wide, CL I have to run the same search multiple times.

Dang I would've snatched that up in a heartbeat as well.. The mugen kit is prob worth 1.5k alone if it's in decent shape

Then you don't know how to use CraigsList because I always search province wide

You can do that? How?

The only way I saw to search province wide was using third party site.

Very unorganized, cluttered shitty websites imo

If it was was as nice as you say, I'm glad you didn't pick it up to use as a 'cheap winter beater'.
