I read that MEC was a place where you could walk in and get a free park pass for those not wanting to wait for shipping. Haven't tried, as I already have one, but I don't see why they wouldn't have it at like the broadway location. GL

for anyone who was interested, manning park this weekend was... a mixed bag. snowed about 35cm the night/morning we headed up there so it was slow going on the crows nest. all the snowshoe tracks were covered so then walking was slow going as well. hit up the back country. set up camp and the sky cleared up. thermometer on tent was showing -18c throughout the night. snow base was about 5ft, and the air was still. stoves barely worked, fire wouldn't stay lit. then snowed in the morning as i slept in as long as possible. the winter beater never skipped a beat though

was a great experience lol.

I'm just curious if anyone has used this yet? I've got mine but it seems to me Parks Canada is offering free admission to everyone in 2017 because of Canada 150. Seems like showing up without this pass gets you in. I highly doubt there will be people checking for this

The pass itself looks like somthing you'd hang from a car mirror?

Maybe just gets your car in?
