My friends white 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback was stolen in Richmond this morning, license plate 803-MSK.

Unfortunately it's bone stock so it doesn't stand out. Has Signature Mazda plate frames and windows aren't tinted if that helps.

Without disclosing too much details, it's confirmed it's been stolen. Car was taken right in front of the house where it's been parked everyday.

lol... that didn't exactly occur in my mind. But I also am curious. Are modern cars still susceptible to being stolen with immobilizers or whatever other anti-theft devices that cars come with now?

Obviously if it's like some pro-level carjacker, any system can be defeated. But I mean in general.

Not convinced that particular car was actually stolen and started, unless the thief got a hold of the key.
