Thought I had a seized front drivers caliper (smoking after a highway run, piston wouldn't compress) so I replaced L and R fronts with new re-man'd calipers. Put in new pads as well since the one that was smoking was about half the thickness of the other side, lol. Thoroughly flushed the brake fluid. With the vehicle jacked up and on stands, when the vehicle is in drive (wheels spinning free air), the right side spins fine but the left side still sticks. If my foot is on the brake in drive, once I let off, both sides spin fine for a bit but then shortly after thee left side will stop by itself.
I've already relubed the sliders on the new calipers. I also just put in a new brake hose on the left side thinking that was the culprit. With the new hose, I'm still having the same problem, except that it seems to be a little better (since the left wheel spins faster/longer compared to before).
Basically done all I can in regards to the brake system other than the master cylinder. Any other ideas?!
Edit:
After a highway run, I'm still smelling burnt brakes. Front left is most prominent, followed by front right, and rear left. Rear right has no smell.
