Openroad Lexus in Richmond had a special event tonight for the lc500. The same cars will be present at the auto show.

I think It looks quite good but like all modern cars it's a bit too high for my taste. Large 21 inch wheels balance the look but still not as sleek and sexy as the older generation coupes. Sounds good but not great. Got to Rev it a few times and I would say it's deep but not throaty enough to be on par with the f type or a Ferrari V8. Sounds better than the mustang GT though.

0-60 4.5 sec for the V8. Not sure what the hybrid numbers are.

Lexus said the lc-f will be a twin turbo V8. Same mill as the LC just with twin turbos added. Should be launched in 2 years

Same story for me last year... the venue is a massive improvement, worth seeing at least once. I think Ford is supposed to have the GT there?

4.5 seconds 0-60 is a bit lackluster nowadays. M2 is faster than that and its half the cost. 911 base is still a better performer, and the F type still sounds better.

I found that Lexus in general, performance isn't their first priority.

Even the LFA, despite the $375,000 price tag, it was slower than much cheaper Nissan GT-R Nismo or Chevrolette C7 Corvette Z06.

The LFA does 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 11.8 seconds...
For the price tag, I would AT LEAST expect 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 10.8 seconds.

I quite enjoyed seeing a Singer Porsche in person. Such beautiful cars they do, they belong in a museum just as much as the street.

The new Lexus LC looks much better in person. Found the pics don't do it enough justice.

I LOVED the colour of that one Aston Marton, it was a really dark blue, basically black until the light hits it just right. Absolutely gorgeous on that car, I just can't remember what model it was :( I derped.

Highlights for me at the show: LaFerrari, Ferrari 250 GT (14 million US for this collector), Porsche Singer, Ford GT, Aventador Miura Edition, Lexus LC500, and that turquoise McLaren 570S.

The yellow Huracan Spyder is nice too. :thumbsup:

I think as the Mazda commercial suggests, their marketing team is getting the target audience all mix up... they want the fathers who now have their kids all grown up to buy a miata. I know those dads, they buy 911s now, lol...
