I have it. Game isn't optimized so unless you have some ridiculous powerhouse of a machine, you're most likely going to play on the lowest settings.

It is fun, but it can be extremely frustrating. I have only been doing solo queue.

I bought H1Z1 and played Kotk a bit, got boring and the game's still so clunky after being in early access for so long.. so makes me wary about buying another EA game, especially when they're asking for almost $40.

Hard to say,updates can really ruin a game,people use to love The Culling and something went to trash after they screwed up on updates and never listen to feedback.


h1z1 the hit marker kinda sucks,Battleground hit marker is way improved compared to that,and Quite fun when you Clan up with decent teammates 3 team Duo.

PUBG also has weekly updates so its slowly getting improved

Yeah you can solo queue, it gets dull after awhile tho..
You can also queue with randoms as well.
So far, most of the random players I been with were friendly and uses voice chat.

But like any game, is 10x more fun with people you know.

Yeah, it's more fun in Duos or in Squads. I'm not into playing with complete Randoms so I either play with people I know or I Solo.

You can do Squad play as a Duo, I do that once in a while with a buddy usually get raped but I find with squads people are less spread out around the map. When doing Solo against Solo's there are people scattered everywhere, you'll walk into some random building and get got from some camper who's been hiding in there for the last 2 or 3 minutes.

I probably have the most fun with a complete squad of 4, I have 4 or 5 people that I know that play fairly regularly. If you get it we can play, I suck shit at this game but I have fun. :)

I tried PUGS over the weekend. It's pretty fun. Duo or squad is more fun to play than solo.
It can be frustrating at times. Take your time and gear/setup properly. 1 or 2 shots will kill you. Don't run though the map like every other FPS out there...

Actually this game was notorious for leaning on the processor rather than the GPU. Try overclocking before throwing in a different GPU, to see if it helps make the game bearable.

Was reading up on it and a common reply was low settings = more load on CPU, higher settings = more load on GPU. YMMV.

With 8gb, I lagged like hell when landing. Houses wont load and id have to wait 30sec to 2 mins for environment to load. Went and got another 8gb and no more issues. Game runs very smooth with low settings.

The game will use between 6.5GB and 10GB of system RAM, depending on what graphics card you have, and the game settings. 16GB of system RAM is recommended, although 8GB works if you close almost everything else while playing. If you have a bunch of things open in the background while playing, even more than 16GB of RAM could be helpful.

I have two 1080s in SLI and I find for gameplay sake running low is best for me.

If you have shitty PC like me try turning off Steam UI, it gave me 10-15~ increase fps.

Also heard putting the game on SSD decrase loading time when you jump off the plane so you dont lag as much at the beginning.

The power plant is good, but gotta watch out for the circle or the incoming rush from the people at mylta. My friend and I love the power plant, but so many times we were caught chasing the circle (RNG loves us). Pretty good loot, but you could easily get surrounded and pinned, so you should loot and get out there ASAP, unless you're camping and waiting to ambush the mylta players.

mao & edm fucked shit up in one game...they had circle in a two story building and the other team in the next one hopped out and started throwing grenades from the ground..like 6 in very top floor and didnt hit anyone.

one held stairs,one was taking out they're armor from window before the other team tried rushing inside last minute..was pure chaos....it was 1vs2 cause our guy kept getting down'd and they thought they would have it rushing...nope...they got mow'd down in the bottom stair case

patch 1.0 test servers WAY more optimized.

so smooth. i used to get 35-70fps (down to 14 when skydiving).

im like 55-150fps now.

plus other refinements in game... models, sounds, mechanics etc. feels like a complete game now.

its funny when i first started playing this game, i had troubles getting chicken dinners

now it feels super easy on every mode and accomplished a rank in the top percentile of North America, breaking top 200 solo FPP as well
