Hey guys, I have seen lots of interest in a pre-meet and cruise down to Tsawassen Mills, so I thought I would organize one!

I'm new to Vancouver so I just picked a big parking lot that I drive by on my way to work, which also happens to be along the way to the meet for those of us in Burnaby/Vancouver. Plus it's beside McDonald's so you can grab some breakfast! Here's the info:

Time: meet up at 9:30 and roll out at 10:10(ish) as it's ~20min drive to meet
Location: Parking lot outside the Home Depot (Bridgeport Road & Sweden Way, Richmond), see photo for where in the lot we will congregate

Heads up for anyone who goes in that parking lot, the concrete is pretty fucked up, two huge holes. One is about a square foot, 8" deep and the other is a yard square, also 8" deep

Thanks for the heads up! I've never been there myself, just driven by and seen a big lot. There's a few entrances so hopefully everybody can get in safely!

Yep, I was just there today. I actually make frequent trips to Home Depot all the time... surprised they haven't patched them up yet. They are brutal. Avoid them at all cost.

I didn't make it this time, but just curious how did this pre-meet turn out?

My car doesn't have a pre-meet group so I could see these random car pre-meets being a good idea next time, possibly for the summer meet.

It went quite well! In total there were about 12-15 cars, but we ended up driving down in three groups as people were getting anxious about the spots at the meet filling up. Considering I threw this together with less than 24 hours notice I'm happy with the results and definitely think it should be done again!

Although I did eye what appeared to be a DC5 group rolling in together... so maybe somebody else will have to organize this random pre Meet if I can track them down haha!
