Hey guys

i have a patio awning and the gutter drain is about 3 feet from one end side. The water would collect at the end causing the water to overflow on the backside underneath the awning. Any ideas how I can stop the overflow? I was thinking of maybe blocking the back side where there's a gap (pic attached)

This x1000. Chances are your gutter drain is simply plugged with stuff causing the overflow. Mine will trap pine needles and leaves, and the whole gutter will fill and start spilling out everywhere. I need to clean my gutters out about 3 or 4 times a year. I did them in the fall before the winter, and again last week. Filled a 2.5Gal bucket with wet forest matter when I did it last week.
