has anyone undergone this freezing procedure before and is it worth it? any really bad side effects? it's to remove a wart-like growth, non-cancerous. any advice is appreciated.

Aww. I opened this thread hoping to ask where to get it locally and how backyard shenanigans you were planning :(

You could use a compressed can of air. Turn the can upside down and use the propellant.
Use masking tape to cover the surrounding skin to protect it.

you do that on any kind of skin with a air can you can easily get hardcore frostbite...i'm surprised somebody would be brave to try it with a air can, even the surrounding skin protected using tape sounds crazy.

I had a doctor do it on a wart on my foot when I was a kid, worked well.

We live in Canada, don't know why you'd resort to potential self mutilation especially when it will cost more.

i use this stuff, it pretty much suffocates the wart, kills the skin, and you like slowly peel it off...
