There was a similar story where a dealer messed up 3 engine rebuilds on an Impreza and refused to cover it.

Not sure anymore... I've had bad experience with Don Dock's Service Dept. as well... Their sales is GREAT though... Too bad their Service manager is too full of himself.

Great sales experience from Don D, and I personally dealt with Hugh over at Wolfe on Boundary and he was great as well. I highly doubt he said those comments word for word - but all I have to say is Wolfe is one of the most mod friendly Scooby dealers out there.

When I was looking at a WRX I went to the Burnaby location. Lets just say the staff weren't that pleasant and I guess they expected me to pay book value like I was some rich HK kid with parents money.. Literally took my business elsewhere and did get a better deal on the car and actually got a test drive. Didn't end up buying the car in the end as i'm hoping when they revamp the STI, that I may consider a new car again. Seems like the service dept is just as Meh...

My family had good experiences with Saunders Subaru in Victoria in the past (although they recently joined Jim Pattison's empire, so who knows now) and an old friend who I've known since pre-school has been a mechanic at Subaru of Nanaimo since he graduated high school.

Am I the only one who see's some damage in front of the tank on the left side? Its a shitty photo but I'd be curious to see if the tank took a hit and possibly damaged that pump. Maybe they saw something at the shop that we don't get too see.

They obviously had a noob doing the work in the first place that's why it kept setting evap codes after the first fuel pump replacement, tank was probably butchered. It's funny how they state that a master tech will now only work on it now.

Good on them for making it right but it's there fault for being in this situation in the first place.

Am I the only one who sees this going overboard? Yes, the dealership screwed up in the first place and the manager should have done better instead of stalking on facebook. But the online community has what essentially turned into a huge mob and basically bullied these companies into meeting all of her demands and then some.

Not only that but dealership staff are getting death threats? A formal written apology and fixing all the issues and monies for time lost is more than enough to rectify the situation.

There's a plastic under body panel in front of the fuel tank on the left side where the brake lines and what not go through, seems like you guys are both talking about that.
