I was looking into this group and was wondering if these meets are worth going to. I'm interested because it is the one group that is nearby me rather than having to drive all the way to Burnaby or Surrey to meet up and go cruising.

Has anyone been to any of their meets? If so what did you guys think of them?

Looks like a bunch of young kids who work hard for their money and earn what they get.

so from that video I gathered it's a meet for the younger crowd

the 'must-be a N sign on the back of that exotic' or 'powered by daddy's credit card' jokes are getting old

Just don't complain about the local car scene dying if we're going to constantly put down newcomers by judging their vehicle and social status

Go pull up RS meet videos from 15 years ago when majority here was in their late teens and early 20s...bet it's quite comical too.

Age is definitely a factor, and I have no issues with their choice of vehicles or social status either. However, the bits that concerned me were:

1) the revving and loud exhaust
2) the burnout / tire squealing take off

I'm sure many of us remember how the Market Crossing Thursday night meets ended (and it wasn't because "I'll fuck your head") FailFish

I went once. Met at oakridge mall underground. Lots of revving, burnouts by a truck, etc. Thought it was too heaty and didn't cruise with them and just went home. Some of the cars were quite nice though. A couple exotics showed up.

Ah the new generation of kids. Back in the day you cant walk a few feet before talking to someone about their builds, getting ideas, and admiring their hard work. It was definitely a tuner scene back then. Now while the cars are more expensive nothing you cant see downtown on the weekends, or at a dealership.
