Im sick of these little fuckers. Richmond is full of these assholes and i cant even enjoy my deck or let my little dogs out without them getting stung everywhere.

What works!? i tried those Johnson and Johnson clipons (useless). Hardcore DEET sprays (good but they discolor clothing and im sure they are poisonous to dogs). Somebody told me i should buy a mechanical mosquito trap but i dont even know which one.

help me revscene you're my only hope.

Your blood is too yummy.

Maybe go out in the afternoon, if you're out in the evening when the sun starts setting then try those LED light traps

Yeah, I hate those bloodsuckers too.

Have you tried lemon eucalyptus oil? It's a great mosquito repellent and safe for the environment.

Citronella works well too.

+1 On the LED zappers

You hang them up and listen to them sizzle.
The radius is pretty good.

Here you go brah

Bug Zappers & Mosquito Traps | Canadian Tire (http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/outdoor-living/lawn-garden-centre/mosquito-insect-pest-control/insect-control/bug-zappers-mosquito-traps.html?adlocation=LIT_OutdoorLawnCare_Insect-Control_BugZappers-MosquitoTraps_en)

Grab yourself a Racket Bug Zapper while you're at it :fuckyea:

Side note even if you get a more pricey one its a good investment. A buddy of mine leaves his on at night when he goes to bed to it zaps whatever is still lingering inside the home and its most effective when all lights are turned off

thats the one i use (the cream version) but it discolors everything. If you put it on your arm and rest it against the black plastic in your car, that plastic will be gray.

Plus im worried if my dog licks anything with that stuff on it, she'll die a horrible doggie death.

$6.99 from Crappy Tire seems like it's way too much $$$ for something like this.

Is there some cheap Chinese store that sells them for cheaper?

Homemade mosquito yard spray is cheap, effective and easy-to-do (http://myhousepests.com/mosquitoes/homemade-mosquito-yard-spray.html)

"1 bottle of blue mint mouthwash (you can buy any big bottle of mouthwash you like, no matter how cheap it is. For example, “Equate Blue Mint Mouthrinse”)
3 bottles (per 12 oz) of stale beer (take the cheapest – it works as well)
3 cups of Epsom salt"

Remove any standing water from on or around your property, they create mosquito breeding grounds.

Get a good mosquito trap, the ones that generate CO2 are the best.

Dude it's 25 percent deet. No wonder it works. Just like the Muskol stuff mentioned earlier.

Lol I love being out with people who are afraid of deet, let them get bit.

The LED zappers and citronella don't do shit. The only other thing that actually works in my experience is a skeeter vac which is great if you have a big enough yard and $300

I've never used the cream, I always use the spray and I've never noticed it discolouring anything. I'm not sure how big your dog is but you might be able to at least use the spray on your upper body.

edit: a quick search says a lethal dose of DEET is over 1,000 mg per kilogram (2.2pounds) of body weight. Doing some very simplified math a 100mL bottle of 30% Muskol would have something like 30,000mg of DEET in the whole bottle, so a 70lb dog would have to drink the entire bottle for it to be lethal. Considering there's only going to be 1-2mL per spray (say 300-600mg) and it tastes awful I highly doubt a dog would lick enough off someone to get even slightly sick, let alone die.

No shit............ when I went through the prairies, I saw insects that looked like they didn't belong in this part of the galaxy.

I was at Mission Raceway Park a week ago, and it was brutal. They're small compared to the monsters out in the prairies, but they are vicious and relentless. The fokkers must have sucked blood out of some weird creatures, 'cause I had a bad reaction started to puff up. You swipe one and they explode with some other person's blood........... SPLAT!!!! eeeewwwwww..............

I was wearing jacket, hoodie, gloves, etc. Still got bitten in the legs, arms, etc. They must have like Super Saiyan Borg assimilation tubules.

"Hey Rob how can you live in Sask with 6 months of snow?"
"What do you mean? The snow is great, it kills all the mosquitos"

Not really sure how far mosquitoes will travel, but we've got an outdoor goldfish pond and they eat a lot of mosquito larvae, the amount of mosquitoes at our home have decreased a lot over the last few years

goldfish?

the only pet I ever had........... killed it. I was eating a hot dog over the bowl when some relish fell into the bowl. Darn fish ate it. Died soon after. RIP, my friend. I think I was like 6 or 7.

I think you mean Koi (carp).

nooo, they're goldfish, like the ones you catch at the night market, literally. There's a few of the original fishes that I caught in 2009 or so

Funny enough though, they have similar colour patterns as koi do

nothing to prevent them, but if those fuckers bite you and you're itching like a bitch.....Tea tree oil works wonders on stopping the itch...i haven't tried the stop the itch push on that smell like hardcore alcohol. but randomly put on tea tree oil and got rid of all itching.
