The theif has been seen driving it around thats the best case scenario rather than hiding in a warehouse being stripped.

I'm guessing an older Toyota is easier to steal than a new car with an immobilizer.

^ unfortunately a flat head screw driver is enough to steal an ae86.
the original key cylinders probably so work that it takes a popsicle stick to get it started.
glad it was found!

Nice tilt shift photo. At first, I thought you posted a picture of a toy model, lol.
Glad it was found! Hope no extensive damages and things haven't been parted out!

didn't even know they made CF doors for something as old as the AE86
glad you were able to recover it

Great to see you got your car back. it's probable a good time to add some security. Something like a fuel cut off switch would be a good cheap start.

What would be easier/better to install? A Fuel Cutoff or a hidden switch that disconnects power from the battery?
I have a older vintage car i'm going to be getting, and since I live in a condo, I dont want someone stealing it.. Then again its a British car so they going to have a hard time getting it to run in the first place.. LOL

I have a 1968 Mustang and the hood doesn't even actually lock on those cars, you can start it in like 5 seconds with any knowledge... sounds extreme, but if I leave it somewhere I actually pull the spark plug type wire from the ignition coil to the distributor... easy enough to do and who (ie: what thief?) carries an extra ignition coil wire around with them? Lol
