Hey guys, decided its time to part ways with my beloved del sol, so I'm starting the process of parting it out. I would rather give my fellow sol bro's and sis's first chance at any parts, before I have to deal with the wonderful people of craigslist.
Up for sale is my custom targa brace, designed by myself and fabricated by myself and my uncle who is a certified welder. The brace is made from 1.5" mild steel. The brace bolts into the chassis without having to drill any holes. You must remove sun visors and can't use them after install. The rear dome light plastic can be removed completely or I trimmed mine to fit around the brace.
I've had installed in my car for 7 years and never had any issues with it at all. We all know how much the del sol chassis flexes, well with this you can almost eliminate all flexing. Made a huge difference in handling, and also decreased roof squeak noise we're all used to.
