Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone here has purchased an used vehicle from WC Auto Direct. I've found out that they are a sister company of Richmond Subaru. I'm planning to go check out a car there and would like to know your experience with them.

Their webpage is Richmond Used Car Dealership | Auto Direct Used Car Dealer British Columbia (http://www.wcautodirect.com)

Thanks in advance!

^^ You know, I don't really buy that bs. IMO, these bs fees can all be negotiated when you are discussing on price.

As I always say, just work with an out-the-door number when dealing with the dealership. They'll work the numbers out however it works for them.

I've seen good and bad with all dealerships but with Richmond Subaru I've seen a more bad than good. my biggest issue when I was looking for my WRX was seeing NEW ones from richmond subaru with lots of KMs...especially considering the one I eventually got was delivered with less than 14km

I checked out a 2006 TL once there. Test drove the car without much hassle, sales guy was friendly and not pushy but did not know much about the details of the car.

Pretty upfront about the existing damage but they lowballed me on my trade so I bounced out real quick.

Point is if the sales doesn't seem generally shady when you ask for details of the mechanics and they're OK with you paying for a third party inspection on the car. Sales don't sit their in their chairs doodling their thumbs waiting to fuck over a customer knowingly. They just want a bigger piece of the pie.

Do your homework on the car and the only thing you have to worry about at a 3rd party dealer is taking out a loan with them
