How often do they actually empty your bin and not just the first 1/4 or half?

It depends on if your bin dumps everything when it gets turned upside-down.

My humble answer --------- you're doing it wrong. Do you like have so much shit that you have to stomp on it to get the lid closed?

god bless

They always empty the whole thing. Are you putting your waste in paper bags? We bag all our compost in paper unless it's leaves or grass clippings in which case it would be loose.

You have to be doing something wrong unless you can tell me every single person in your hood has the same problem then and only then can I say maybe it's a driver issue.

Do you have too much stuff in there that it's packed as in you are always having to squish down to make more room?

Are your food scraps wet? Drain your food before dumping, always.

LOL My dad bought a case of bleach to pour into the bin because of the maggots.

I’ve stomped down a bin full of tree branches, leaves etc to the point where it’s heavy and compacted af and it still always gets completely emptied.

What annoys me about Vancouver is they don’t have the full sized recycling bin like Surrey etc.

C.O.V has been good with dumping all the contents. Smithrite on the other hand ... they just about leave a mess everytime they're here.

Same in PoCo. We've had full sized bins for 10+ years. Always emptied.
